Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using www.churchdownfireworks.co.uk (“the Site”) operated by MyChurchdown (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site.
By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms.
MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter competitions unless stated in the individual competition T&C’s. Closing date for entry will be displayed on the Competition post. Entries received after this date will not be counted.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend competitions and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Winners will be chosen at random by competition entrant software.
The winner(s) will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
By entering all competitions, the entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
ONLINE STORE TERMS
Churchdown Firework Extravaganza is organised and operated by Churchdown Parish Council.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). E-Ticketing software is maintained by Jack Vockins / Webterior. Ticket Validation is in use.
ATTENDING THE EVENT
All customers consent to the following:
- No admission without a ticket.
- Photo ID regarding the age of children or adults attending may be requested at the entry point.
- Please respect the local residents when travelling to and from the Event and keep noise to a minimum.
- Vehicles are left at your own risk.
- Event schedule and layout is subject to change.
- Trespassing on ‘no public access’ areas or adjoining private property is prohibited.
- Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Event.
- Management reserve the right to refuse admission to the Event.
- Strictly no trading is allowed on event sites or public areas without written permission.
- The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the event.
Bring your ticket (either physical or printed E-Ticket) with you to the event where it will be scanned and validated. We can also scan your ticket on a mobile phone providing the QR Code is clearly visible.
Child prices are for ages 16 & under. Adult prices are for ages 17 & older. Under 4’s are free of charge. Family Tickets admit 2 Adults & 2 Children the discount will automatically be applied at checkout.
All purchases are final, tickets are non-refundable. We will however issue refunds in exceptional circumstances. Such requests are reviewed on a case by case basis and any refund will be issued up to 7 days after the event.
In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will endeavour to reschedule the event. If unable to do so, we will issue a full refund.
No refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from the venue.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BRING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO THE EVENT:
Flares, fireworks, sparklers, Chinese / sky lanterns, firewood, candles or any flames are not permitted.
Drones, portable laser equipment, laser pens, air horns, megaphones, vuvuzelas, kites, spray paint cans, sound systems, gazebos, unofficial tabards and reflective jackets, or any item that could be considered a weapon, including multi-tools, are not permitted. Items will be confiscated.
Churchdown Parish Council operates a no drink/drug policy. Sparklers, Alcohol & Bikes are prohibited and are not permitted to be brought into the event.
Any person in possession of prohibited items may be refused or removed from the Event and risks prosecution.
We strongly encourage local residents to walk to the event or to use public transport.
If travelling by car, a limited amount of parking will be available at the Churchdown Community Centre & Churchdown Surgery. Please be mindful of parking in front of resident’s Houses/Driveways, adhere to steward information, Highway Code & Parking Restrictions. Thankyou for your co-operation.
We are able to offer a cashback service (Maximum £50), please speak to one of the Pre-Paid ticket stewards at the gate.
The nearest ATM Cashpoint is at Tesco, Cheltenham Road East.
VALUABLES & SAFETY
We recommend taking some easy steps to maximise your enjoyment of the event. Exercise common sense when it comes to bringing along valuables- if you don’t need it, don’t bring it! Keep money, mobile phones and cameras on your person at all times.
Make yourself aware of the location and surroundings and follow any instructions given to you by stewards. In the unlikely event that you witness dangerous or antisocial behaviour move away and alert stewards as soon as possible if they are not already in the immediate vicinity.
All lost property from the event (where possible) will be looked after by Churchdown Parish Council, please return to the site on the Monday following the event, to see if your item has been handed in.
We warmly welcome visitors with disabilities to Churchdown Fireworks Extravaganza and toilet facilities are available. The site is accessible to wheelchair users and mobility scooters. Please be aware that there are some uneven surfaces and that the Firework Extravaganza can be crowded.

RUBBISH & WASTE
Please use the bins provided to dispose of all your rubbish. This massively helps the team of volunteers who have to attend the site in the early hours on Saturday Morning to complete a litter pick. Plenty of bins are provided around the site.
There are ample toilet facilities on site, these are adjacent to the Parish Council Building. We all know that event toilets can be a bit of an ordeal so please do your bit by leaving them, as you’d like to find them!
There will be First-Aiders available from Churchdown Parish Council
If you suspect somebody is unwell take them to the Council Offices or alert a member of the team. If you take any medication regularly remember to bring it with you and make your friends aware of any illness of allergies you may have.
